Community

​On-going Civic Projects 
BHPCNS is a community of caring.  In the past our school has whole heartedly supported efforts to benefit charities both local and global. There are both on-going and special events or drives.  

Christmas Wreaths:  The school is proud to support the GFWC Metropolitan Club's Wreath Sale.  Proceeds benefit many local charities.

Angel Gift Tree:  BHPCNS partners with the Church to collect toys for underprivelaged children living the Washington, DC metro area.

Pull Tabs:  We continuously collect the pull/pop tabs from cans of soda, vegetables, cat food etc.  These are currently given to local animal rescue organizations who in turn take them to the recycler to earn cash.  It's amazing how many funds have been raised with these little things so keep them coming!  There is a collection carafe in the office.

Boxtops for Education:  Feel free to bring these into nursery school.  While our school does not currently participate in this program we will distribute them to a school that does.
