Application/Registration

Acceptance is based upon a modified "first come, first serve" model. Certain groups of applicants, such as church members and siblings get priority placement.

Below is an overview of the Nursery School's application process. More detailed information can be found in our Parent Handbook.
New Students
   Applications for enrollment of new students are received by the Nursery School on a rolling basis for the following year.   A non-refundable application fee of $50.00 must accompany the application form. Click on the link to the right to download an application.

Current Students
   Children currently enrolled my re-apply in late November/early December for the following year.   Applications will be distributed via student totebags and will be posted on this website at the appropriate time. Please review our Parent Handbook for acceptance guidelines.

Acceptance Policy
   Applications from currently enrolled students that are received on the designated registration day(s) are processed first, in the order in which they were received. Applications received before the registration day(s) will be processed as follows:
      1. Children previously enrolled
      2. Children whose parents are members of Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church
      3. Siblings of previously enrolled students
      4. Children enrolled in the Church School of Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church
      5. Previous applicants to the school
      6. All other applicants

   Within each ranking priority is given to "earliest received" applications.

The Director of the Nursery School has the final authority to accept a child for admission.

Applications 2012/13
With the exception of our five-day four-year-old program, all programs for the 2012-13 school year are full. The waiting lists, though, are very short and we encourage to stil submit an application.

With the exception of our four-year-old programs, all of our programs are full for the 2011/12 school year. Most, however, have relatively short waiting lists. To be placed on the waiting list you must submit an application.

School Tours
We'd love to have you come visit our school! Small group tours are given at either 10:00 or 10:45 a.m. unless otherwise noted. Current open dates are February 9, 13, 16, 23 and March 13, 21, & 29. Please RSVP by calling 301-365-2909 or emailing bhpcns@yahoo.com.

When scheduling a tour, please keep in mind that they are generally for adults only. We find that it's easier for the parents to concentrate if the children don't come. If you need to bring your child(ren), don't sweat it---we do like little kids here. Just let us know when you contact us.
